Ottawa: Philippe Savoie from Kanata is upset after some vandals painted racial slurs on the front of his house, while he was away. Police say 23-year-old Philippe Savoie recently bought the home. He travelled to London for the Thanksgiving weekend and found the vandalism upon return.

It is suspected that the racial slur was against his room mate,Sajjad Haiberali, who is of Pakistani background, because Savoie himself is white and some of the racial slurs were targeted at black people, including references to the KKK..Pictures of the house were posted online  and received hundreds of thousands of views.
He first noticed “F–k n—ers” scrawled across his front steps. Then he turned to more than a dozen iterations of “KKK” written on the brick of his house. They also spray painted an “x” across the window of his front door and painted over his exterior lights.
Savoie said he will be repainting his garage door and front entrance Tuesday, but is still trying to figure out how to remove graffiti from the brick of his home. He is reportedly offering a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to a conviction of whomever is responsible for defacing his house with racist graffiti.
The 23-year-old software developer just bought the house in February and said he’s had no run-ins with anybody.
Police is probing the incident.
