Dwayne Alexander Thompson shot dead in Darcel Avenue shooting

Toronto: Peel Police say a 32-year-old Brampton man identified as Dwayne Alexander Thompson was shot dead in Darcel Avenue shooting was shot down in Mississauga late Thursday night outside an apartment building on Darcel Avenue, near Goreway Drive and Derry Road East, in Malton.
Police were called to the complex after people heard the sound of gunshots.The victim was reportedly found in a parking lot behind the building.
Investigators are looking for three black males, who were in a white vehicle and were seen running from the area after the shooting.
Police arrived to find the body of a young man in the parking lot of the apartment complex.
Homicide investigators will be following up with interviews of residents who live in the neighbourhood this morning.Police continue to investigate the incident.
Investigators are searching for a 2007 Nissan Altima associated with Thompson with the Ontario licence plate BNCH 717. The public is asked to call police if they see this vehicle.
