Police probing after body of Artem Tchourkach found in Richmond Hill

Toronto:Police have started a probe after body of a man identified as Artem Tchourkach was found lying on roadside in Richmond Hill area of Ontario, on Sunday.
The body of Artem Tchourkach, of Richmond Hill, was spotted by a driver on Stouffville Rd. between Bayview Ave. and Yonge St. around 4 a.m.
York police said he was fatally struck by a cube van.
The van’s driver continued without stopping because it was dark outside and he did not realize he’d hit some one but soon after he came back at same route and found emergency crews at the site.Then he reportedly learned that he had hit some human being.
Police say the body was first spotted by a driver on Stouffville Rd. and the police is probing the cause of death.
Police have not released any other information of the deceased or the circumstances sorrounding the death.
Police is also seeking any witness in the case.
