Veasna Heng faces abduction charges after daughter missing

Toronto:   Toronto police have charged Veasna Heng of  Toronto for abduction of her daughter Dystani Heng during a parental visit. Police is also concerned for the safety of the young girl who has been missing for nearly a month.

Dystani Heng, 12, was last seen on July 16, when she was with her mother in the Jane Street and Finch Avenue West area. The girl’s mother surrendered to police on Tuesday. Veasna Heng was charged with abduction in contravention of a custody order and appeared in court on Tuesday.
