Wayne Alan Cunningham, suspect in child confinement case found dead

Toronto: Ontario Provincial Police say they have found the body of Wayne Alan Cunningham, wanted in connection with an alleged case of forcible confinement and sexual assault in Nova Scotia.   OPP members in Greenstone, Ont., say they located the body of a white male, around 30 years old, who matches the description of Wayne Alan Cunningham.

While the body hasn’t been positively identified, police believe it is of Cunningham.While the cause of death is under investigation, police said they do not suspect foul play.

Cunningham and David James Leblanc, 47, were both charged with forcible confinement and sexual assault after of a 16-year-old boy in Upper Chelsea. David James Leblanc, was arrested Sunday on a nearby road in Greenstone and remains in hospital under police custody.

A ground crew searching in dense woods in northern Ontario had found the dead body.Further investigation is on.
