Now Fukrey after Oye Lucky Lucky Oye

New Delhi: Actor Manjot Singh, who became popular with oye lucky lucky oye, has been roped in to essay a role in Fukrey..

Pulkit Samrat and Richa Chadda play the lead in the movie, while Manjot will play Pulkit’s best friend, Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment, confirmed in a statement issued Thursday.

Manjot had played the character of young Lucky in Dibakar Banerjee’s “Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!”. The 20-year-old had won the Filmfare critics award for best actor in 2009.

Set for 2013 release, “Fukrey” will see Pulkit sporting a new look. He will be seen romancing Richa, who has made her mark with “Gangs Of Wasseypur”.
