Saskatoon:Police have released the names of victims near the Bliane Lake crash.Three women and one man were killed in a three-vehicle crash near Blaine Lake, Saskatoon.
The collision involved a Pontiac Grand Prix, a Honda Civic and a Dodge Voyageur on Highway 12, near the Petrofka Bridge.
The deceased have been identified as Curtis Lafond, 45, from the Mont Nebo, Sask., Brittany Omani, 19, from the Muskeg Lake Cree Nation,Lillian Arcand, 81, from the Muskeg Lake Cree Nation,Amy Arcand, 21, from the Mistawasis First Nation.
Three others were taken to the Regina General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the accident, and RCMP are continuing their investigation with the assistance of the Forensic Accident Reconstructionists.
