Kristopher Nicholas Cook from Calgary wanted for fundraising scam

Calgary police is hunting for Kristopher Nicholas Cook who has been accused of pretending to have cancer and holding a fundraiser that garnered $7,500.

The venue had been provided free of charge, and guests paid thousands of dollars for various donated items.It was only later that friends began to suspect the funds weren’t being used for anything medical and questioned whether the man even had cancer.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of 28-year-old Kristopher Nicholas Cook, of no fixed address.  He is described as white, five feet, eight inches tall, about 140 pounds and slim build.
