113 land donations made to Dera Sacha Sauda in Bathinda

Bathinda:Raising more eyebrows at the functioning of the controversial Dera Sacha Sauda in Sirsa, dozens of dera followers continued gifting land to the sect for the second day today.
While the dera has denied any directions in this regard but there are rumours that the followers known as ‘ premis and insaan’ are acting due to desire expressed by sect head Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in this regard.
45 properties ranging from a few kanals of land to several acres were donated in the name of Shah Satnam Ji Green ‘S’ Welfare Force Wing, an environment unit of the group on Friday.The total number of such sale deeds has reached 113 while more such donations were expected on Monday as a number of dera followers had lined up in Gonyana and Talwandi Sabo tehsils but the registration of their property could not be completed due to some administrative reasons.
Meanwhile some social organizations are worried about the fate of such farmers , who are being deprived of their precious land due to the alleged brain washing , as the agricultural land in Punjab is already shrinking, making the survival of small and marginal farmers , a herculean task.
