Toronto:Durham police have confirmed that the body of a woman Andrea Damude and her baby Brock found in the trunk of a car near Sunderland, Ont., in March was a case of murder-suicide.

Andrea and her 8-month-old baby were discovered in the trunk of an abandoned white vehicle .

Months before the incident, Damude had expressed her frustrations online about sleepless nights she had while her baby stayed awake.

The discovery of bodies was made near Sunderland in March 2012.

The medical and supplemental forensic examinations have been completed on the 37-year-old female and her eight-month-old son, both from Petawawa, Ontario.

The investigation has identified no evidence the deceased were abducted, forced into the trunk of the vehicle and/or were murdered by other individuals.

The Investigators believe this incident to be a tragic event with the mother willingly entering the trunk of the vehicle with the child, which is consistent with her committing suicide.
