Chantel Bergamsco from Brampton arrested with guns and drugs

Brampton: Investigators with the Peel Regional Police Street Crime Gang Unit have charged Chantel Bergamsco from Brampton after successfully executing two separate search warrants, resulting in the seizure of firearms and drugs.

During the early morning hours of Friday, officers executed a search warrant at an address on Darcel Avenue in Mississauga, in relation to an ongoing investigation. A loaded, 12 gauge sawed off shotgun and a quantity of cocaine and marijuana were seized during the investigation.

A 17 year old young offender, who cannot be identified under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was arrested and is charged with 7 firearms and 3 drug-related criminal offences.

Later they executed a second search warrant at an apartment building at 195 Kennedy Road in Brampton. A loaded, Jiminez Arms 9mm semi – automatic handgun and a quantity of ammunition were seized during this investigation.

Chantel Bergamsco, a 22 year old Brampton resident, was arrested and has been charged with several firearms related offences.
