Edmonton downtown stabbing leaves one dead , one injured

Edmonton:A double-stabbing incident in Edmonton’s inner city near 95th Street and 102nd Avenue has left a man dead and a woman injured.

Both victims were taken to hospital where the man died of his injuries. Police said the 50-year-old male victim is city’s 20th homicide of the year.

Police spokesman Scott Pattison says the area has seen a lot of violence in the past and that they are considering a facility to offer 24-hour services to the city’s homeless.

Police is probing the matter and hunting for a while male who escaped on a bicycle wearing a hoodie.
