Elderly pedestrian killed in Mississauga in the intersection of Burnhamthorpe Road West and Wolfedale Road

Mississauga:Peel Police say an elderly woman in Mississauga has been crushed by a  tractor-trailer  in the intersection of Burnhamthorpe Road West and Wolfedale Road at around 1 p.m.

She was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, a 47-year-old man from Quebec, was unharmed.The intersection was shut down for a police investigation.
