Winnipeg: Police in Winnipeg have charged four persons for the alleged murder of Leroy George Ross, who was found injured on the 300 block of Aberdeen Avenue Thursday morning after an assault.
Police were called at scene and upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from a serious head injury.He was rushed to the hospital in serious condition, where he succumbed to injuries.
The investigation has revealed that during the evening hours of October 17th and into the early morning hours of October 18th, a drinking party was taking place at a residence involving numerous people. At one point during the gathering, a physical altercation involving three females and the male victim erupted. The victim was physically assaulted while in the residence at which time the altercation spilled outside to the rear yard.
Then a male suspect reportedly approached the victim and proceeded to assault him further.The victim was left outside and the suspects returned to the residence.
Attending members took several individuals into custody.
Police have now charged Mary Sue Harper, 37 , Linda Margaret Mcdoughall, 35, Debbie Rose Redskye, 42 , and Swanson Annanias Ross, 42 ,with manslaughter as a result of their alleged involvement.
Autopsy results are pending.
