Man injured in Surrey shooting

Vancouver:Police is investigating after a man is in hospital after an early-morning shooting at a house in Surrey near 60th Avenue and 129B Street in Newton.Police found an injured man who was bleeding from reported gunshot wounds.He was taken to hospital and his condition is stated to be stable.

Investigators are on scene and have cordoned off the house. RCMP responded to a call around 5:30 a.m. at the home.

The street is closed to traffic a half a block in either direction.Police probe is on and no names have been released at this time.Police have not released any information about the suspect as well.Witnesses are also sought in the case.
